Worker Earnings & Withdrawal Policy
1. Where your reward comes from
Every task on HandshakeAI belongs to a campaign whose budget the business funded before publishing. When your submission is approved, your reward is credited from that funded budget. Rewards are never paid from other workers' deposits or from borrowed money.
2. From approval to available balance
An approved submission credits your wallet as a pending reward. Pending rewards settle to your available balance after the standard review window. Your dashboard always shows both amounts, plus your complete transaction history. A reward is created exactly once per approved submission — a retry or refresh can never duplicate it.
3. Requesting a withdrawal
You may withdraw your available balance to a Safaricom number you have registered and verified in your payout settings. The current minimum and any fees come from live platform settings and are shown before you confirm. When you request a withdrawal, the amount is reserved immediately: it leaves your available balance so it cannot be spent or withdrawn twice while the request is pending.
4. Review and payout
For now, every payout is reviewed by a HandshakeAI administrator before the transfer is initiated. If your request is approved, the transfer is sent to your verified number and the payout is marked completed only after the payment provider confirms it. If the transfer fails, the reserved amount is returned to your available balance and we will contact you to fix the destination number.
5. Rejections and holds
A withdrawal may be rejected, with a stated reason, if: the destination number is not yours or fails verification; the request is a duplicate; your account is under fraud investigation; or the request breaches these terms. Rejected requests release the reserved amount back to your balance. You can appeal through support.
6. Rejected work and disputes
A rejected submission never credits a reward, and the rejection reason is always recorded. Where a task allows resubmission you can try again; otherwise you may appeal within 14 days through support. Submission history is never deleted.
7. Fair-play rules
Self-approval, fake work, plagiarised submissions, multiple accounts to claim the same task, or any attempt to manipulate balances will lead to suspension and reversal of affected rewards. Financial records cannot be edited by users or hidden; all balance changes are auditable ledger entries.
